CHEER SQUAD
Cheer Squad Coach: Ms Andriëtte Roux
Learners audition bi-annually to belong to the team. A captain and vice-captain is appointed.
Training under the expert hands of Ms Andriëtte Roux, they prepare dance routines, stunts and tumbling movements to perform at School sport’s days of which the summer and winter inter-schools are the highlight of the year.

Our Hermie Cheer Squad affiliate under SAMCA (South African Majorette and Cheerleading Association), which provides the rules and training methods and participate in the regional competitions organised by Western Province Majorette and Cheerleading Association.
Learners with gymnastics and or dance background , or with a passion to move are encourage to attend the auditions! This is a fun team activity, and athletes are trained at the school, after school hours on Mondays and Wednesdays.
